Workday Extend Developer

Must be commutable to the NYC area but this is a remote role with occasional need to be in midtown NYC location.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Associate specializing in Workday Extend and proprietary applications. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in developing and managing Workday Extend applications and will play a key role in enhancing our Workday environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain proprietary applications using Workday Extend.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of Workday Extend applications.
• Provide technical expertise and support for Workday Extend-related projects and initiatives.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Workday Extend applications.
• Stay updated with the latest Workday Extend features and industry trends.
• Participate in the planning and execution of Workday upgrades and enhancements.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with Workday Extend application development and deployment
• 3+ years of experience with Workday Studio, Workday Cloud Platform SDK, and Workday APIs
• Working knowledge of both Workday HCM and Financial data models and business processes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
