IT Project Manager

*6-month contract with possibility of extension

*Position is remote but candidates must live within a 2-hour radius of Philadelphia, PA in case they are needed onsite

*Ideal candidate with have Project Management experience with a focus on infrastructure/new facilities and EPIC.

Job Summary:

-Creates, coordinates, and manages advanced level projects, including organization-wide system implementations or upgrades.

-Manages 8 to 15 project team members.

-Takes on leadership opportunities within the PMO.

-Acts as a mentor to new PM's.

Required Skills & Experience:

-Eight (8) years of experience as a project manager in IT project management with increasing responsibilities.

-Demonstrates proficiency in creating detailed documentation for complex projects.

-Communicates effectively, both oral and written communications, with project staff, sponsor(s), and stakeholders.

-Demonstrates effective consensus-building skills.

-Demonstrates ability to manage advanced level projects.

-Demonstrates ability to coach other team members.

-Demonstrates ability to present project status or PMO specific initiatives to IS and/or hospital leadership.

-Demonstrates ability to be a trusted business partner to project sponsors and stakeholders.

Required Education:

-Bachelor's degree.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

-Active Project Management Professional (PMP).

-Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
