We're searching for a skilled Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and architectures. You'll collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to support data-driven decision-making across our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and optimize data architectures for data collection, storage, processing, and retrieval.
- Work closely with data scientists and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues related to data pipelines and architectures.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data engineering and related technologies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications in data engineering or related fields are a plus.
