I'm currently working with a leading assembly supplier across the motor vehicle manufacturing space who are currently going through an exciting period of growth and looking for an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing Manufacturing team across Michigan.
This role will be responsible for walking through the design, processing and build of automated assembly equipment throughout the entire production cycle and ensuring that timelines and requirements are met to the satisfaction of the customer (internal or external).

To be successful in this role, the team are looking for some who has:
- Have a strong understanding of the assembly process and equipment (ideally in an automotive environment) and be able to walk through the entire process with customers
- Program/project management experience, managing automation and robotic weld cells for a supplier or integrator
- Basic controls knowledge and robotics programming experience is ideal
- Looking for someone who has experience and is capable of creating and implementing continuous improvement plans
