Job Details

Role: ETL Developer (SQL Server + Snowflake)

Locations: Boston, MA (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

F2F Interview Highly Preferred - Local or candidates from adjacent states only.

Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3-4 Days every week.

 

Job Description:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Software Development, Engineering or Computer Science is required.
  • 7+ years demonstrated experience in database development on any major RDBMS platform (Snowflake/ SQL Server/ Oracle/ Sybase ASE/ DB2).
  • 6+ years' experience with either Ab Initio or Informatica ETL toolsets.
  • 5+ years' experience with cloud-based platforms like Snowflake, AWS or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of data objects like JSON and XNIL.
  • Experience writing Unix shell and Windows batch scripts.
  • Strong knowledge of software development and the system implementation life cycle is required.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Strong communication skills — both verbal and written.
  • Understanding of the integrity of development models including the enforcement of standards, policies and system stewardship principles.
  • Ability to develop support materials for to expand overall knowledge sharing throughout the group.
