What you will do

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Power Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team within PGIM, the Global Investment Management division of Prudential Financial. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience implementing solutions to tackle various business challenges, with extensive expertise using Microsoft's Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio. Your focus will be to optimize the talent programming efforts including a global training site with automated features. It is important that you have coding experience to complete the intensive automation and platform integration. This role is based in one of our two locations; Newark, NJ and/or Tampa, Fl. Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely and/ from the office, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. This position is hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring weekly basis 2-3 days per week.

What you can expect
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their challenges.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Create automated workflows to improve efficiency and streamline business processes.
  • Optimize existing processes and data flows to ensure they are efficient, non-redundant, and systematic.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring robust and scalable implementations.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed solutions to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions, including troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
  • Document solutions and workflows clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing and support organizational continuity.

What you will bring
  • 1+ years of experience in solution development, specifically utilizing Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Pages, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with Microsoft product integration for automated workflows.
  • Experience with rapidly building solutions using leading low-code platforms. Coding experience with automated features a must.
  • Strong understanding of automation principles and best practices when developing solutions.
  • Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for exploring new technologies to enhance business processes.
  • Experience with talent solutions and/or training site development a plus, but not necessary.
