QA Tester - Real-Time Payment (RTP) System for Commercial Banking
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to support end-to-end testing for a Real-Time Payment (RTP) System tailored for the commercial banking sector. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the platform, which is designed to facilitate immediate payment transfers and settlements, similar to Zelle, but focused exclusively on commercial users. As the QA Tester, you will be responsible for creating and executing test scripts to validate system functionality, uncover any defects, and ensure the platform meets the highest quality standards. This is a remote/virtual position, allowing you to work efficiently in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct end-to-end testing for the commercial-focused RTP system to ensure seamless and reliable functionality across all modules, including payment initiation, processing, and settlement.
* Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional requirements, business rules, and edge-case scenarios.
* Validate system integrations with online banking platforms, payment gateways, and other financial systems.
* Assess system performance and scalability during peak usage periods, ensuring the RTP system can handle high transaction volumes.
* Ensure data security and integrity throughout the testing process, addressing compliance with commercial banking regulations.
* Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools, collaborating with internal teams for timely resolution.
* Test API integrations to ensure proper messaging, real-time updates, and communication protocols for payments between businesses.
* Perform regression testing to confirm that updates or fixes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
* Work closely with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, reproduce issues, and suggest improvements.
* Prepare detailed test reports, presenting results and insights to stakeholders and providing QA sign-off for platform readiness.

Key Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience as a QA Tester within a financial services or payment systems environment.
* Experience with Real-Time Payment (RTP) platforms or similar systems (e.g., Zelle or other payment networks).
* Familiarity with commercial banking systems and workflows, particularly online and digital banking platforms.
* Hands-on experience developing and maintaining test scripts for complex systems with multiple integrations.
* Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and tools such as Selenium, JIRA, Postman, or other related software.
* Ability to conduct API testing for seamless integration and real-time communication between systems.
* Strong understanding of payment processing, security protocols, and compliance requirements for the commercial banking sector.
* Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, able to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.
* Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams and preparing thorough reports.
* Preferred qualifications: Experience testing financial transaction systems with high-volume, real-time capabilities.
