Job Details

We are hiring a Duck Creek Developer to join our team remotely. This individual should specialize on the Policy side.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Policy solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Implement and maintain business rules, workflows, and user interfaces.
  • Develop custom components, integrations, and enhancements within the Duck Creek platform.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Mentor junior developers and promote best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Duck Creek development, with a focus on Policy.
  • Strong understanding of insurance business processes and systems.
  • Experience with configuration and customization of Duck Creek solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in .NET C#, XML/XPath, SQL, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with Duck Creek Author, Product Studio, Express, TransACT, and User Admin.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and APIs.
  • Experience with relational databases (MS-SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
  • Certification in Duck Creek technologies is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.
