Trident Consulting is seeking a " Guidewire Developer " for one of our clients in " Charlotte, NC ”

Job Title: Guidewire Developer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Job Type: Contract - Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and configure Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Guidewire solutions.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guidewire applications.
  • Work with QA teams to ensure the quality and functionality of software deliverables.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to junior developers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Guidewire development and implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Proficiency in Java, GOSU, and XML.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
