Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Environmental Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental research, performing site assessments, analyzing environmental data, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This role involves both fieldwork and office-based analysis to support projects in environmental conservation, pollution control, and sustainable development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA) and prepare detailed reports.

  • Perform site inspections, sampling, and monitoring of soil, water, and air quality.

  • Analyze data using specialized software and prepare technical documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

  • Develop and implement environmental management plans and mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and government agencies on environmental projects.

  • Provide recommendations for reducing environmental risks and improving sustainability practices.

  • Keep up to date with emerging environmental laws, policies, and scientific advancements.


Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Ecology, or a related field (Master s preferred).

  • 1 3 years of relevant experience (entry-level positions may accept internships or research work).

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in environmental sampling and analysis techniques.

  • Knowledge of GIS and environmental modeling tools.

  • Familiarity with environmental legislation and reporting requirements.

  • Strong data analysis and report writing skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

  • Willingness to travel and work outdoors in various conditions.


Working Conditions

  • Combination of office work and fieldwork, sometimes in remote locations.

  • May require working in adverse weather conditions and handling specialized equipment.
