JOB DESCRIPTION

Detailed Description:
As the Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM)/SCCM engineer, the qualified candidate should be well versed to support MCM current branch with a working knowledge in Modern device management (Intune)
Support End-User Computing Automated Infrastructure Services team to maintain Configuration Manager environment and package applications using InstallShield AdminStudio, VmWare AppVolumes
Provide key technical support in day-to-day sustainment functions, but highly focused on SCCM Operating System Deployment (OSD).
Strong knowledge of the end-to-end process of OSD and be capable of configuring OSD in a dynamic manner that can create flexibility in the deployment process
Ability to use OSD to perform PXE initiated, multicast, bootable media, stand-alone media and pre-staged media deployments.
Work with other departments or other team members to design and execute the technical implementation of Intune solutions based on requirements and design specification.
Have Advanced experience with Operations System Deployment (OSD) around imaging, analysis and troubleshooting and automating those issue detections/resolutions(Level II/III Support)
Engineer must be proficient with PXE Solutions
Engineer will be expected to develop automation process (PowerShell), self-service options and framework as needed
Engineer must be knowledgeable in multiple technology areas including client computer hardware, operating systems, end-user desktop software, end-user device security management for both desktops and servers.
Serve as an escalation points for all Service Desk related issues.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelor's degree with a Minimum 5 years of IT experience in core System Center functional areas like Configuration Manager, including WSUS, OSD and automation using PowerShell. Application packaging experience using InstallShield AdminStudio and VMware-AppVolumes, including use of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), InstallShield AdminStudio, PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit
Preferred Qualification:
Advanced knowledge of application installations on the Microsoft Windows platform
Experience with MCM administration, engineering, architecture and Implementation
Experience with Co-Management (Intune + SCCM / MECM), Endpoint Manager, Cloud Management Gateway and Microsoft Autopilot. Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot Intune environment
Experience troubleshooting issue remediation for client laptop and server communication and providing resolution
Experience in desktop OS engineering and imaging
Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and other command-line interfaces
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Security benchmarking, vulnerability scanning, and remediation technologies and procedures
Experience with ServiceNow ticketing system and change management process.
Experience managing SCCM applications, packages, and collections,
Extensive experience with Scripting languages - PowerShell and Batch Scripting for application packaging and automation.
Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently, Strong learning aptitude and ability to learn new technologies independently

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
