Description
We are looking for an experienced Acumatica ERP Project Consultant to oversee the implementation and integration of Acumatica ERP solutions for our retail operations. This role involves managing key project milestones, ensuring seamless data migration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency. This is a long-term contract position based in Eastern Iowa, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant digital transformation initiative.
Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of Acumatica ERP systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational goals.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to integrate Acumatica with eCommerce platforms like Shopify and warehouse management systems.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure project success.
Conduct training sessions to equip internal teams with the knowledge to effectively use Acumatica systems.
Oversee data migration from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the process.
Document all workflows, system configurations, and user training materials for reference and future use.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to address project requirements and challenges.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial systems during system integrations
Requirements
Proven experience managing ERP implementations, with a strong focus on Acumatica systems.
In-depth knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and order processing workflows.
Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and warehouse management tools.
Expertise in data migration processes and system integration methodologies.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial system operations.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to train and support users during system transitions.
Willingness to work onsite in Eastern Iowa, during critical project phases.
