we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. For this multi-year opportunity with a diverse set of needs to address, we are currently focusing on establishing partnerships with individuals as well as companies who can help us enhance our overall service portfolio, cut lead times, and ultimately help us deliver successfully. We currently hold sizable Government accounts in the San Francisco bay area including City and County of San Francisco, San Mateo County, and Santa Clara County.

Roles/Responsibilities:
- Provide ongoing technical guidance for ingestion, security, performance tuning & optimization, and advanced Snowflake features;
- Provide product advocacy and Customer enablement;
- Work with Customer resources as a primary technical advisor, providing guidance on the following matters: - Reference architecture - Architectural guidance - Snowflake best practice considerations related to Snowflake configuration, accounts, security guidance, databases, data management and other topics as agreed upon by the parties;
- Provide onboarding and implementation support to DT, DataSF, and City departments to implement Snowflake on a project basis, including helping with the design and implementation of system configuration, database and compute architecture, security policies, role based access control (RBAC) frameworks, or other related topics.
- Serve as a primary technical lead with access to Snowflake technical experts that can facilitate collaboration on broader technical items;
- Facilitate Customer access to Snowflake support resources that will allow Customer to directly post support questions and help with technical guidance pursuant to Customer's support agreement;
- Engage with other Snowflake technical leaders.
- Deliverables:
- Regular meetings with DT, DataSF and department technical staff
- Other deliverables agreed as needed for each project or engagement (e.g. specific documents, artifacts, frameworks, or code)
- Weekly status report covering: status on milestones & weekly activities, identification of risks and resulting mitigations, tracking of timelines
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post[1]sales technical role
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience
- Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
- Understanding of complete data analytics stack and workflow, from ETL to data platform design to BI and analytics tools
- Strong skills in databases, data warehouses, and data processing
- Extensive hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics
- Scripting experience with Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash.
