SRE Product Manager

We are currently seeking Product Manager for a W2 contract opportunity in Dearborn, MI. This role has the potential to extend over multiple years, with the chance to transition to a direct hire position with our client. Position Description:

• We are seeking an individual with over 5 years of hands-on experience in overseeing IT projects utilizing Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of Agile frameworks and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Rally, and Jira. Additionally, they should have extensive knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with practical experience managing SRE products or projects.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to formulate a clear vision and garner support through influence rather than relying solely on authority. Leadership guided by principles is essential for this role. A solid working understanding of IT infrastructure is required, along with prior experience in IT partnerships within global, diverse, and cross-functional settings.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must, coupled with the capacity to adapt quickly and adhere to best practices. This role demands versatility within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, where the individual should be capable of assuming various responsibilities.
• Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a positive attitude are highly valued traits. Excellent time management and organizational abilities are essential for coordinating complex projects, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Establishing and nurturing productive relationships internally and externally are key aspects of the role.
• The ideal candidate should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, effectively managing multiple assignments concurrently. Attention to detail, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills, is crucial for success in this position.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years hands-on experience managing IT projects using Agile methodology.
• Deep knowledge of Agile framework & tools Scrum, Kanban, Rally, Jira
• Deep knowledge of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering), and hands-on experience managing SRE products or projects
• Ability to define a vision and gain the support of others through influence vs authority.
• Principle based leadership.
• Working level knowledge of IT Infrastructure
• Prior IT partnership experience, exposure to global, diverse, and cross functional IT project setting
• Extraordinarily strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
