Description

We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This role requires expertise in developing and optimizing BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven ability to work closely with business users to deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using tools such as BusinessObjects, Cognos, and DAX technologies.
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
Implement and optimize ETL processes using tools like Informatica and SSIS to ensure seamless data integration.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate complex data insights.
Utilize Maps API to integrate geographic data into business intelligence solutions.
Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
Document processes and create business requirement documents to ensure project alignment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BI systems and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging BI technologies to enhance solutions.
Provide training and support to end-users for BI tools and applications.

Requirements

Proven experience with BusinessObjects, Cognos, DAX technologies, and other BI tools.
Proficiency in ETL processes, including hands-on experience with Informatica and SSIS.
Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and tools.
Experience working with Maps API to integrate geographic data.
Ability to create detailed business requirement documents.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users.
Familiarity with analytics and data modeling concepts.
