Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Legal Advisor/ Contract Specialist to provide strategic legal support across the company s global operations. This role involves advising on a wide range of legal matters, drafting and negotiating complex IT and ITES-related agreements, and ensuring compliance with employment and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies. The role requires providing legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the company and its initiatives
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements including:
- Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
- Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Confidentiality Agreements
- IT and ITES-related contracts o Primarily, drafting, vetting, and negotiating various types of IT and ITES-related agreements, Non-disclosure/ Confidentiality agreements, Master Service Agreements and related agreements. o Ensure contracts are compliant with applicable laws and aligned with business objectives.
Legal Advisory:
- Provide timely and practical legal advice to internal stakeholders on:
- Employment law and workplace matters
- Statutory and regulatory compliance across geographies
- Risk mitigation strategies
- The responsibility is to provide legal advice and opinions on a host of issues pertaining to day-to-day operations of the company and its initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
Global Support:
- Support business operations in North America, Europe, and LATAM regions. o Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of topics including employment matters, statutory & regulatory compliance matters across geographies. Work closely with all functional groups.
- Stay updated on international legal developments and ensure compliance with local laws.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Independently interact with managers and leaders across all levels of the organization. o Build strong relationships with internal teams to proactively address legal issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Law (LLB); Master s degree (LLM) preferred.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in corporate legal advisory, preferably in IT/ITES sectors.
- Strong understanding of international contract law and employment regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across time zones. Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a global legal team.
- Familiarity with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong business acumen.
