RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Charlotte, NC.

Summary:
The Infrastructure Project Manager I will play a critical role in driving infrastructure-related initiatives across the enterprise. This role supports the full project lifecycle-from initiation through execution to closure-working directly with cross-functional teams, data center operations, application owners, and technology stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple infrastructure initiatives simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end project delivery for data center infrastructure initiatives, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communications
* Facilitate and document project scope, objectives, timelines, risks, and resource requirements in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders
* Coordinate across infrastructure, application, and operational teams to ensure alignment of requirements, schedules, and dependencies
* Track progress and provide regular updates to leadership, ensuring transparency around risks, milestones, and key decisions
* Ensure proper change management, documentation, and compliance practices are followed for all infrastructure-related projects
* Act as a liaison between PMO leadership, technical teams, and external vendors where applicable
* Support cross-functional special initiatives with a focus on improving data center efficiency and lifecycle management

Sample Projects May Include:
End-of-life remediation planning and execution for:
* Physical servers and network hardware
* Operating systems including Windows, Red Hat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux
* Data center capacity optimization and resource reallocation
* Hardware refresh coordination across multiple environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project coordination or management, preferably within a data center or enterprise environment
* Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts such as servers, operating systems, capacity planning, and hardware/software lifecycle
* Experience collaborating with technical teams, system administrators, and application owners
* Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar)
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
* PMP, CAPM, or similar certification (preferred but not required)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
