Job Title-Epic willow Consultant

Location - Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Epic Willow Analyst/Consultant to support and optimize our Epic Willow Pharmacy application. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Epic Willow Inpatient and/or Ambulatory modules and will work closely with pharmacy operations, IT, and clinical teams to ensure the effective use, build, and support of the Epic system in alignment with clinical and business workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform build, configuration, and maintenance tasks for Epic Willow (Inpatient and/or Ambulatory).

  • Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, and IT stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into functional Epic system solutions.

  • Participate in the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support of Epic Willow workflows and integrations.

  • Maintain and enhance medication order sets, formulary management, dispensing configurations, and barcode scanning functionalities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Epic Willow modules, including coordination with Epic support if necessary.

  • Participate in upgrade, optimization, and go-live support activities.

  • Prepare and maintain documentation for system changes, workflows, and procedures.

  • Train and support end-users on Epic Willow features and best practices.


Required Qualifications:

  • Epic Willow Certification (Inpatient and/or Ambulatory) mandatory.

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Epic Willow build and support.

  • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare compliance standards.

  • Experience with medication dispensing interfaces, drug databases (e.g., First Databank), and barcode medication administration (BCMA).

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Epic upgrade cycles and release management.

  • Knowledge of integration with third-party pharmacy automation tools or EMR systems.

  • Experience working in a multi-hospital or health system environment.
