One of TEKsystems largest professional services clients is looking for a strong storage resource to support their public sector clients.
This is a client facing role on client site site.

2) Storage administration configuration and troubleshooting
- back up experience (Data Protection, data domain)
-ideally dell power suite (PowerScale, PowerStore)

- will support client and liase with teams and escalation points across the infrastructure space
1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Acts as your primary on-site contact for all Dell technical matters.
Diagnoses and resolves hardware/software issues across Dell systems.
Coordinates with Dell's support teams for complex issues.
2. Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance
Monitors the health, performance, and utilization of Dell infrastructure.
Performs routine maintenance, firmware upgrades, and diagnostics.
Supports lifecycle activities such as replacements and hardware expansions.
3. Deployment & Configuration
Assists with deployment and expansion of Dell infrastructure.
Configures and optimizes systems for performance and reliability.
Ensures smooth integration with your existing IT environment.
4. Customer Advocacy
Act as "Customer Success Manager" by liaising with the support groups to ensure the incidents are attended in a timely manner.
Represents your technical needs within Dell.
Ensures alignment between your business goals and Dell's solutions.
Provides feedback on product performance and potential improvements.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Maintains accurate records of system configurations and changes.
Delivers regular status updates and performance insights.
Assists with compliance documentation and audit readiness.
6. Proactive Support & Strategic Guidance
Identifies potential issues before they impact operations.
Recommends best practices for tuning, scaling, and future growth.
Performs health checks and contributes to long-term planning.
7. Knowledge Sharing & Staff Enablement
Provide documentation, walkthroughs, or live demos when needed on Dell systems and tools.
Responsibilities will include fielding support calls, acting as the primary intermediary between the client and tech support, dispatching warranty replacement parts, coordinating government cleared resources for component replacements, and managing escalations as necessary.
The main lines of business they will support are PowerEdge, PowerScale, and the DPS portfolio, with some support for PowerStore as well.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Having a Canadian citizen is mandatory, onsite is also mandatory. Specific clearance is not mandatory, but customer will perform their own clearance, that requires a minimum of 10 years of Canadian citizenship.
This is expected to be a longer term engagement, the existing team has been onsite for over two years, and due to the specific security requirements that will take 6 months or more to process, there is a strong emphasis on continuity
