About this Position:
Job Title: Cloud/DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Test Support: Evaluate existing applications, provide architectural upgrade roadmap, assess unit tests, collaborate with Regression Automation, and recommend design alternatives.

DevOps Assessment: Assess CI/CD infrastructure, monitoring, security, and compliance; identify bottlenecks, risks, technical debt, and perform gap analysis versus industry standards.

Roadmap & Strategy: Create prioritized improvement list, recommend upgrades/refactoring with new technologies, identify automation opportunities, and plan security/compliance enhancements.

Implementation of Changes: Enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve monitoring/logging, implement secrets management, vulnerability scanning, access controls, and optimize cloud scaling, cost, and backup/recovery.

Knowledge Transfer: Document all deliverables, reports, test cases, and meeting minutes; share with contract manager and state personnel.

Ongoing Collaboration: Conduct regular knowledge transfer sessions to ensure comprehensive understanding and documentation of all project activities.
Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of expert-level experience as a DevOps Architect and System Integrator, with a proven track record of implementing solutions using commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products.

At least 10 years of experience serving as a Solution Architect for complex enterprise-scale applications, demonstrating the ability to design, integrate, and optimize large systems.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the infrastructure and architecture of public pension systems, including system integration, scalability, performance optimization, and modernization of legacy platforms.

5 years of experience in developing technical documentation (standards, best practices, procedures) and delivering training or knowledge transfer sessions to team members.

A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting applications on cloud platforms, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, with expertise in deployment, monitoring, and operational support.
