Description
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will contribute to the complete development cycle of hardware, firmware, and software solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to design innovative solutions for real-time system control while collaborating with a team dedicated to high-quality product development.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain software and firmware for real-time system control, adhering to sound engineering principles.
Participate in product design by reviewing documentation and formulating test equipment requirements.
Develop software architecture and algorithms for both new and existing hardware systems.
Integrate commercial test equipment and third-party hardware with custom firmware and software.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test equipment and products, providing analytical solutions.
Support production teams by offering technical assistance for both test equipment and products.
Collaborate on analog and digital system designs from conception to production.
Present technical briefings and updates to management.
Create and maintain thorough documentation for software requirements and specifications.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in embedded programming using C, C++, C#, and VB.Net.
Strong understanding of code architecture, algorithm design, and graphical user interface development.
Familiarity with communication protocols, high-speed serial, Ethernet, and ARINC-429 communication.
Experience with digital circuit design, including embedded microprocessors.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
