Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICA Consultant with strong expertise in the Telecommunications industry to support our client s implementation and enhancement projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) within Telecom billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue management processes.

This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, and optimize SAP FICA solutions that integrate seamlessly with industry-specific telecom processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP FICA processes tailored to the Telecommunications sector.

  • Support convergent charging and billing integrations, ensuring seamless customer account management.

  • Configure and enhance invoicing, dunning, payments, collections, refunds, and write-offs in SAP FICA.

  • Integrate SAP FICA with other SAP modules such as FI, SD, CRM, and BRIM and external telecom billing platforms.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve FICA-related issues in billing, posting, and reconciliation.

  • Provide functional expertise during full project lifecycle (blueprinting, implementation, testing, training, and post-go-live support).

  • Ensure compliance with telecom industry-specific financial, legal, and reporting requirements.

  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge transfer within the team.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable).

  • Hands-on experience in Telecommunications industry processes (customer billing, convergent invoicing, collections, and dunning).

  • Strong knowledge of FICA integration with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management), Convergent Charging (CC), and Convergent Invoicing (CI).

  • Proficiency in FI-CA subledger accounting, GL integration, payments, refunds, and clearing.

  • Understanding of taxation, revenue recognition, and compliance in telecom.

  • Excellent functional knowledge of payment processing, lockbox, credit card, and direct debit handling.

  • Ability to design and deliver end-to-end telecom FICA solutions.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance in a telecom environment.

  • Exposure to SAP Subscription Billing or SAP Hybris Billing.

  • Knowledge of IFRS 15 compliance for telecom revenue.

  • Prior consulting experience with major telecom operators.
