  • Own the design and roadmap for the Project Management and Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN) functionality.
  • Create scalable, modular architectures that support global engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure the system aligns with enterprise PLM strategy, security requirements, and performance goals.

2. Teamcenter Configuration & Customization

  • Configure Teamcenter modules: Project Management, Schedule Manager, Change Manager, Workflow Designer, Organization, and Access Control.
  • Develop solutions using BMIDE, handlers, stylesheets, and ACLs.
  • Oversee customizations using ITK, RAC Customization, SOA/REST services, and Active Workspace extensions.

3. Project Management Module Ownership

  • Design and deploy project templates, WBS structures, milestone models, task deliverables, and resource management configurations.
  • Integrate project tasks with workflows, BOM updates, CAD data changes, and release processes.
  • Optimize scheduling, capacity planning, dashboards, and reporting for program/portfolio visibility.

4. Change Management Process Ownership

  • Architect and maintain PLM change processes including problem reports (PR), Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and deviations/waivers.
  • Integrate change workflows with CAD releases, manufacturing processes, and quality systems.
  • Streamline approval cycles, traceability, and impact analysis.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, program management, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality organizations to translate business needs into PLM solutions.
  • Work directly with Program/Project Managers to align Teamcenter Project Management capabilities with real execution workflows.
  • Provide technical leadership to developers, analysts, and system administrators.

6. System Governance & Administration

  • Monitor system performance, health, and integrations (CAD, ERP, MES).
  • Define standards, naming conventions, revision schemas, and lifecycle models.
  • Ensure data integrity, permission management, and compliance with IT/PLM governance rules.

7. Continuous Improvement & Support

  • Lead upgrade planning, environment strategy, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide Tier-3 technical support for Teamcenter issues.
  • Evaluate new modules such as Requirements, Quality, Workflow Visualization, or Manufacturing Process Planning for roadmap integration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5–10+ years hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter as a solution architect or senior configuration engineer.

Strong expertise in:

  • Project Management module (Project templates, tasks, resource management)
  • Change Management (PR/ECR/ECO workflows, change objects, impact analysis)
  • BMIDE configuration
  • Workflow Designer and process modeling
  • Experience with Active Workspace configuration and UI customization.
  • Knowledge of integrations: CAD tools (NX/SolidWorks/Catia), ERP (SAP/Oracle), and authentication systems (SSO/LDAP).
  • Proficiency with ITK, SOA/REST services, and server-side extensions is a strong plus.
