Role: Systems Engineer
Term: 12 months, strong possibility of extension
Location: Hybrid for (Phoenix,AZ Austin,TX or Westlake,TX)
Required Skills:
1. Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills
This is the most emphasized skill throughout the entire description. It covers:
Interacting with all levels: Technical staff, managerial staff, support groups, end-users, and management.
Written communication: Documenting processes, procedures, technical presentations, answering technical questions, and customer follow-up.

This is the core technical function of the role and requires both deep technical knowledge and critical thinking. It involves:
Understanding problem determination and service restoration (the main objective).
Demonstrated ability to resolve business and service impacting problems while evaluating all alternatives and consulting with senior technical leaders.
Gauging customer impact and escalating with the appropriate sense of urgency.
This skill heavily relies on the required technical knowledge (Control-M, JES/SDSF, JCL, UNIX/LINUX/Windows, etc.) combined with the additional skill of Problem Solving.
3. Initiative and Independent Work Ethic
