About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Workday Accounting Center (WAC) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Workday s Accounting Center, Workday Financials, and related modules. This role involves leading implementations, designing financial data transformations, and providing subject matter expertise to ensure accurate and compliant accounting processes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support Workday Accounting Center implementations from planning through deployment.

  • Configure and optimize Accounting Center rules, mappings, and transformations.

  • Translate complex business requirements into Workday Accounting Center solutions.

  • Collaborate with finance, HR, payroll, and IT teams to integrate data sources into Workday.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.

  • Support data conversions, reconciliations, and validation during deployment.

  • Provide expertise on Workday Financials, particularly in areas like General Ledger, Financial Accounting, and Reporting.

  • Develop training, documentation, and knowledge transfer for client teams.

  • Troubleshoot, test, and resolve post-production issues in collaboration with support teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Workday Accounting Center Certification (mandatory).

  • Strong experience in Workday Financials modules, with hands-on exposure to Accounting Center.

  • Proven track record of Workday implementations or enhancements (minimum 2 3 full-cycle deployments preferred).

  • Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, sub-ledger integration, and reconciliation processes.

  • Experience working with data transformations, mappings, and accounting logic in Workday.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Reporting, Prism Analytics, or Adaptive Planning.

  • Prior consulting experience with Workday implementation partners.

  • CPA, CFA, MBA (Finance), or other financial/accounting certifications.

  • Experience in large enterprise financial systems and multi-country rollouts.
