Job Summary:
Responsible for guiding advanced data modeling and SQL query development, technical architecture and solution design, completing and influencing business requirements, reviewing and analyzing existing systems and processes, andbuilding out of technical specifications for projects utilizing EPIC Clarity and Clarity-adjacent datasets. Conducts gap analyses to document discrepancies between business requirements and system capabilities. May develop project plans and ensure plan adherence. As system development progresses, will have input into reporting requirements/report development, user interfaces, and coordinates or conducts UAT and the final evaluation of the system solution. Serves as liaison between line business (client) and the IT organization.
Essential Functions:
Requirements definition and analysis: collects and researches specific client requirements for projects, identifies requirements, gathers workflow data and basic system and reporting specifications. Develops, implements, and supports common business processes and tools. Recommends basic alternatives to address problems.
Project planning and execution: participates in project management process, including participating in project meetings. May document issues, action items, user requirements, or deliverables from project meetings. Performs a variety of project related activities, including analysis or preparation of documentation and presentations. Accomplishes all work within established methodologies and standards.
Business User/Owner Application Support: 1 st point of contact for customers when issues arise with data / reports. Works with business and technical teams to determine root cause. Influences client and gains commitment to changes required.
Business and Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities for business or process improvement; makes associated recommendations and implements as appropriate.
Guides and advises developers and testers on database design, generating data models and writing SQL queries.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) years experience in software or system testing across multiple IT environments.
- Minimum one (1) year software or application development experience.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS or related field and Minimum eight (8) years experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or other comparable business analyst or IT consulting certification
- Three (3) years experience in large scale software implementations
- Either Oracle or SQL Server databases
- Either Oracle PL/SQL or T-SQL
- Either Oracle or SQL Server Performance Tuning
- Familiarity with Tableau Prep, SAS, PowerAutomate, Python, R are pluses
- ETL, Data Validation
