RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS (Java, Oracle, AWS, CI/CD) in Durham, NC.
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement full stack solutions using modern frameworks and cloud technologies
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software
* Develop and maintain APIs, batch processes, and user interfaces
* Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies
* Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
* Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using observability tools
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* 4+ years of experience in full stack development of multi-tier applications
* Experience with AWS services (EKS, ECS, Lambda, SQS, EC2, S3, IAM)
* Experience with web services (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, YAML)
* Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, or ELK Stack
* Agile development experience
* Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
* Proficiency in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Python
* Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices
* Strong front-end development skills using Angular or similar frameworks
* Strong communication and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
* Experience with Terragrunt or Terraform modules
* Experience with workflow automation and data design
* Familiarity with billing, banking, or financial systems
* Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
