Description
We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our team in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will leverage data analytics and visualization tools to transform complex information into actionable insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data preparation, analysis, and reporting, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Gather, clean, and integrate data from both internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, optimize processes, and uncover business opportunities.
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, and reusable datasets to support consistent reporting.
Collaborate with business leaders to gather requirements and align insights with organizational goals.
Monitor and troubleshoot data file transfers to ensure seamless operations.
Conduct quality assurance checks to validate data integrity and accuracy.
Manage version control processes using Git to maintain consistency across projects.
Ensure compliance with data security protocols and governance standards.
Support enterprise-wide Power BI deployment with a focus on scalability, performance, and governance.
Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including DAX technologies and dashboard creation.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including data modeling and business intelligence analysis.
Experience working with XML and JSON file formats for data processing.
Familiarity with Python for data engineering tasks and automation.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and optimize data querying processes.
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
