Location: New Jersey (preferred) or Dallas, TX (Local Candidates only)
Work Mode: Remote with Hybrid (3 days remote + 2 days/week at office)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Architect to lead enterprise-level BI initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, cloud-native analytics solutions. This role demands strong communication, leadership, and architectural skills, with a deep understanding of Microsoft's data ecosystem including Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Microsoft Fabric.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between onsite stakeholders and offshore delivery teams.
- Lead end-to-end BI solution design, development, and deployment using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Drive customer conversations around migration from Power BI to Microsoft Fabric.
- Architect and implement data models, dashboards, and reporting solutions aligned with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and performance optimization.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 15+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in Power BI architecture and development.
- Strong expertise and knowledge in Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Proven experience in leading customer engagements and translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in hybrid delivery models (onsite-offshore).
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and data modelling.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for BI deployments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Azure, or Fabric.
- Experience with Power BI Embedded and REST APIs.
- Exposure to data lakehouse architectures and medallion design patterns.
