A Chester County-based scientific organization is looking for a Level II Desktop Support Engineer to work on a variety of servers and support tasks. You will collaborate closely with seasoned experts as a Junior Systems Engineer to support and manage this client's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues or bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
- Assist in managing backups, disaster recovery plans, and system security measures.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in systems administration.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration roles is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
