V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Helpdesk - Help Desk Support Technician - SME Level for our premier client in Jackson, Mississippi.
Education and Experience »
- Must also have experience providing remote assistance using various platforms and must be experienced with providing support for M365 Applications.
- Experience in Desktop\Laptop troubleshooting, software installation, peripheral hardware implementation and active directory administration.
- Experience working in a help desk environment: 3 years.
- Experienced with providing support for M365 Applications: 3 years.
- Experience providing remote assistance using various platforms: 3 years.
- Experience in desktop\laptop troubleshooting, and software installation: 3 years.
- Hardware Implementation and Deployment: 3 years.
- Basic Active Directory Management: 3 years.
Preference:
- Microsoft O365 experience.
- BMC Footprints Help Desk Experience.
- MAC OS Experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
- Must be good at organizing, prioritizing, and planning.
- Must be able to update and maintain Help Desk records in accordance with established support procedures.
- Must also have excellent communication skills.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be the initial point of contact with end users requesting IT Support.
- This goal has an outcome to increase the availability of quality data to drive decisions that improve student outcomes.
- Planning to satisfy this goal in part by modernizing current student information system along with improving the quality of data in connected systems.
- This will include web-based application development, and creation of dashboards and reports that will improve access, accuracy, and ease of use for all stakeholders.
