RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a JavaScript Engineer to join their team remotely.
Summary:
The JavaScript Engineer will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions business. As a JavaScript Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our web development team creating cutting-edge web applications. You will be responsible for implementing high-quality Android solutions that meet our business objectives and exceed user expectations. Your technical expertise and strategic vision will drive the success of our web projects and contribute to the overall growth of our company.
We have several needs for API developers working in Java/Spring environments for our expanding modernization efforts. We are hoping to hire candidates from a variety of experience levels from entry level to senior to diversify our team and bring various ideas to the table.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools to ensure smooth and efficient operation of Android applications
* Experience in developing complex, high-performance Android applications with a focus on user experience, performance, and scalability
* Knowledge of modern software development practices such as Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and test-driven development (TDD)
* Familiarity with UI/UX principles, material design guidelines, and responsive design techniques
* Strong proficiency in web application development using React and Angular, with a deep understanding of design systems and web component architectures
* Proactive in identifying potential issues, proposing solutions, and driving continuous improvement in code quality, performance, and best practices
* Demonstrates judgment and flexibility; Thinks about issues and develops solutions that thoughtfully take the broader context into account - positively deals with a shifting demand for time, priorities, and the rapid change of environments
* Takes an ownership approach to engineering and product outcomes
* Action-oriented self-starter who can set strategy and drive execution with a -roll up the sleeves- approach
* Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and influencing skills to work effectively with all stakeholders (internal & external), making information-based decisions
* Demonstrated ability to innovate and leverage new technologies, tools, and techniques to solve complex technical challenges and improve development processes
* Experience in technology transition from Angular to React is strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
