Job Title: IT Test Coordinator
Location: Frisco, TX (Hybrid - 2 days onsite)
Job Description:
Skilled and Proactive IT Test Coordinator / Test Manager to lead testing efforts across enterprise technology initiatives. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality software solutions by coordinating test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of QA methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the end-to-end testing lifecycle for IT projects, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, workstream leads, business analysts, and vendors to define test scope and objectives.
  • Coordinate test activities across internal teams and third-party partners. In collaboration with test leads, develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
  • Help manage and coordinate test environments and ensure availability of test data.
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide guidance to business users.
  • Coordinate Production Readiness and facilitate the Go/No-Go Decision process Ensure compliance with client s IT governance and quality standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to QA team members. Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a coordination or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Qtest, JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail).
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
