BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst in Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)!

Position Title: Data Analyst

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)

Anticipated Start Date: 08/15

Expected Duration: 12+ months contract + Renewable

Job Type: [FULL TIME (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) [CONTRACT], [Hybrid]

Pay Range: $35- $37/hr

Job Summary:
The Data Analyst/Developer/Data Champion will play a key role in promoting data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will involve collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights, as well as fostering a data-literate culture and championing data governance practices.

Responsibilities:
Data Analysis/Tableau Developer:
* Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources.
* Work within existing data structures
* Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support decision-making.
* Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data sets.
* Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and support hypothesis testing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and develop analytical solutions.

Data Champion:
* Promote data governance and data quality initiatives within the organization.
* Educate and train colleagues on data literacy and best practices.
* Advocate for the use of data to drive business decisions.
* Work with IT and business users to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
* Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
* Foster a data-aware culture within the organization.

Qualifications:
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
* Extensive knowledge in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Experience with SQL or other database technologies.
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
* Experience with data governance, data quality, or data privacy.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
