Job Title: Healthcare Interoperability Specialist (FHIR/HL7)

Location: 100% Remote

Client: Major Pharmacy Company

Duration: One plus year


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Interoperability Specialist with deep expertise in healthcare data standards and interoperability frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FHIR, HL7v2, and CCDA, and a strong background in data mapping and healthcare terminology standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed data mapping from CCDA to FHIR resources, ensuring data accuracy and conformance with FHIR specifications.
  • Work with various healthcare data formats and ensure compliance with interoperability standards.
  • Collaborate with technical and clinical teams to design and implement data integration strategies.
  • Ensure interoperability across healthcare systems through effective use of HL7v2, CCDA, and FHIR standards.
  • Interpret and apply clinical coding standards such as ICD, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and CPT to data mapping and validation tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) and HL7v2.
  • Extensive experience with CCDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture).
  • Demonstrated experience with data mapping, particularly from CCDA to FHIR.
  • Understanding of various healthcare data formats and standards.
  • Familiarity with clinical terminologies and coding systems: ICD, SNOMED CT, LOINC, CPT.
