Immediate need for a talented Broadcast/Production Engineer. This is a 04+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Stamford, CT (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform system-level troubleshooting of technical facilities, including control rooms, studio equipment, audio equipment, and associated computer systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance on studio and control room equipment
- Assist Studio Operations with technical setup in control rooms and studios
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to implement technical solutions that meet production initiatives
- Install and update equipment and systems software
- Repair and troubleshoot equipment to the module level using industry-standard test equipment
- Manage projects, design systems, and assist with system integration and commissioning
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; Production/Broadcast, troubleshoot studio equipment
- 2+ years of experience in a television broadcast environment or an equivalent
- combination of education and experience
- BS degree in Engineering, Communications, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
- Proficiency with broadcast production systems and software, including audio consoles, intercom systems, video switchers, wireless audio, server-based playout, and test and measurement equipment
- Understanding of TCP/IP networks
- Knowledge of digital TV (HDSDI)
- Proficiency in software-driven broadcast video equipment
- Ability to read and understand system signal flow diagrams for television control room and studio facilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused under the pressures of live television
- Strong hands-on problem-solving skills with broadcast-related equipment and systems
- Understanding of the urgent needs of on-air sports and the ability to remain productive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to support a 24x7 production environment
- Willingness and ability to learn new production technologies
- Preferred experience in live production environments
- Knowledge of computer server installation and maintenance
- Sony cameras and switchers
- EVS Servers, IP Director, XSquare
- Evertz and Grass Valley routing
- RTS Intercom
- Calrec audio consoles
- Tektronix and Leader test and measurement systems
- Knowledge of SMPTE 2110 standards
- Experience in system design, AutoCAD, and project management
- Understanding of wireless audio and communication technologies
- Experience with 1080P and 4K HDR production
- Comms Systems (RTS ADAM/Omneo) knowledge
- Experience with Avid Media Composer
- Experience with Avid Interplay
- Experience with Comms Systems (RTS ADAM/Omneo)
- Proficient in Chyron graphic systems
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering high-quality technical support
- Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to diplomatically engage with colleagues across various departments
- Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends
- Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
