A fast-growing national organization is seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications to lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of business-critical systems across multiple departments. This role blends product ownership, systems leadership, and process improvement to modernize and scale enterprise platforms across finance, HR, operations, and construction teams.


The ideal candidate brings a hands-on approach to managing enterprise tools like ERP, HRIS, and project management systems, with a strong foundation in Agile/Scrum and a track record of aligning technology solutions with evolving business needs.




What You'll Do:




  • Own the vision and roadmap for core enterprise systems (ERP, HRIS, Construction Management, etc.)




  • Serve as Product Owner-manage the backlog, define priorities, and lead sprint planning across applications




  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and translate them into actionable features




  • Oversee internal teams and vendors for development, integration, support, and system rollouts




  • Champion system adoption through clear documentation, user training, and change management strategies




  • Partner closely with InfoSec and compliance leaders to ensure appropriate data controls and governance




  • Drive process automation and explore AI opportunities to increase efficiency




  • Support financial and operational leaders by enhancing reporting, workflows, and cross-functional decision-making tools






What We're Looking For:




  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Advanced degree a plus)




  • 7+ years managing enterprise applications, with 2+ years in a Product Owner or similar leadership role




  • Expertise with ERP (NetSuite preferred), HRIS (Workday preferred), and construction project platforms (Procore ideal)




  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog grooming




  • Knowledge of integration tools such as Workato or Boomi




  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences




  • Background supporting finance and operations teams with tools related to GL, A/R, A/P, and billing is highly valuable




  • Familiarity with enterprise environments such as infrastructure, construction, or large-scale operations is a strong plus
