Job Details

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users/customers. Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations. Performs spatial integration at system or component level and modification of mechanisms/landing gear/ordinance systems. Assists in preparing technical documents for mechanical components and systems. Assists in supporting proposal preparation and new business development efforts. Works under general supervision.

Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
  • Develops mechanical systems component detail and assembly designs.
  • Document processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical system parts and assemblies.
  • Participate in technical review of supplier designs and non-conformances.
  • Analyzes results and support design reviews.
