Job Details

Job Title: Oracle Fusion Tax with OneSource experience

Experience Level: 10+ Years
Location: Research Park Triangle , NC

Duration: 6+ months contract

Overview

The Oracle Cloud Tax with OneSource Lead Consultant will lead cross-functional discussions with tax, accounting, and IT stakeholders to design, configure, and implement tax solutions integrating Oracle Fusion Tax and Thomson Reuters OneSource. This role requires a strong background in Oracle ERP Cloud Tax, in-depth functional expertise in OneSource, and hands-on experience across multiple full life-cycle tax implementations.

The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and testing tax configurations, troubleshooting tax issues, and ensuring compliance through effective solutioning and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement-gathering and solution design sessions with business, tax, and accounting teams.
  • Analyze and document business requirements to ensure tax and compliance needs are met.
  • Design, build, and configure solutions in Oracle Fusion Tax and OneSource.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Design and support technical enhancements (RICEW Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, and end-user training.
  • Prepare and deliver solution demonstrations and stakeholder presentations.
  • Lead Oracle Fusion Tax implementation efforts and coordinate cross-team deliverables.
  • Provide post go-live support and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with SI partners and internal business/IT teams for status tracking and issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a tax environment involving Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Fusion Tax integrated with OneSource.
  • Proven expertise in OneSource configuration, design, and solutioning.
  • Hands-on experience in at least 3 full life-cycle Oracle Tax implementations.
  • Strong understanding of multi-org setup (Set of Books, Legal Entities, Operating Units).
  • Deep knowledge of AR/AP/Procurement processes and their integration with tax systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and lead delivery across multiple business and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
