Job Details

Join a global automotive company and their innovative engineering team as a Senior CAE Analyst specializing in thermal and fluid dynamics. With a focus on advancing automotive technologies, you will play a pivotal role in HVAC, Cabin + Comfort, and full vehicle level simulations, contributing to the development and optimization of the latest vehicle designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sophisticated 1D and 3D thermal and fluid dynamics simulations to support vehicle development.
  • Utilize system simulation software such as GT Suite, Siemens Amesim, Star CCM+, Openfoam, and Fluent to construct, calibrate, validate, and analyze CAE models.
  • Develop custom CAE methodologies to enhance model accuracy and analysis capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CAE findings into broader engineering projects.
  • Lead initiatives for HVAC, cabin comfort, and full vehicle level modeling, ensuring all models meet industry standards and project specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of the simulation process.

Required Skillset:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of industry experience as a CAE analyst, with a strong background in 1D & 3D thermal and fluid dynamics simulation.
  • Expertise in using 1D & 3D system simulation software such as GT Suite, Siemens Amesim, Star CCM+, Openfoam, and Fluent.
  • Demonstrated experience in HVAC, Cabin + Comfort, and full vehicle level CAE model construction, calibration, validation, and analysis.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative CAE methods for improved modeling and analysis.
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Bonus Skillset:

  • Previous Experience in an R&D environment.
