Responsibilities:
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructure for our client's enterprise environments. Leveraging your in-depth knowledge of Check Point Firewalls and Cisco networking technologies, you will lead initiatives to enhance network security, optimize performance, and ensure scalability. This role demands a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust network solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Check Point Firewall solutions, including configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
- Architect and implement Cisco networking solutions, encompassing routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Conduct network assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scopes, and deliver scalable network infrastructure solutions.
- Provide expert-level support for network-related issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing timely resolutions.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security trends to continuously improve network operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering roles, with a focus on Check Point Firewalls and Cisco networking technologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Check Point Firewall platforms, such as Check Point R80.x, NGX, and SmartConsole.
- Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching, including Cisco IOS, Nexus, Catalyst, and ASR platforms.
- Experience with network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCSE, or CCSA are highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex network issues.
