RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle HCM Data Conversion Specialist in Boca Raton, FL.
Basic Purpose:
The Oracle HCM Data Conversion Specialist will be responsible for loading data from legacy systems into Oracle Cloud HCM. The Specialist will collaborate with functional users and other data conversion team members to execute the conversion strategy and ensure that all objects are loaded correctly and accurately.
Essential Functions:
* Execute tasks in support of the data migration strategy, working closely with the functional, conversion, and development teams and leads
* Conduct data mapping sessions with functional/technical users
* Provide guidance on data cleansing
* Utilize existing Oracle HCM import formats to transform historical data and load into Oracle HCM
* Ensure error handling, logging mechanisms, and troubleshooting capabilities are in place for conversion failures
* Validate the migrated data to ensure that it is correct, complete, and consistent with the source data
* Create validation/reconciliation reports
* Collaborate with all stakeholders to support unit testing, SIT, UAT, and post-go-live validation
* Adhere to data conversion best practices
* All other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships:
* Reports to Director, IT Applications
* No direct reports
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is desired
* Relevant Oracle certifications are preferred but not required
* 5+ years utilizing the various Oracle conversion/import methods including, but not limited to HDL, HDSL, FDBI, and ADFDI
* 5+ years working with Oracle Cloud HCM
* Strong proven hands-on experience in the following conversion objects; HCM, Workers, Elements, Payroll Balances, Tax Cards, Absences, UDTs
* Functional knowledge of the modules which data is being converted into; Including but not limited to Core HR/HCM, OTL, Payroll, Absences
* Technical knowledge of the underlying/supporting interface, error, processing, and validation tables
* Strong hands-on experience in creating PLSQL query, packages, and Stored Procedure to develop conversion scripts to load flat files in the specific format into HDL and FBDI
* Strong technical and analytical skills required
* Effective communication skills to explain conversion processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the comfort and ability to present to both functional and technical stakeholders.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
