Piper Companies is seeking a Portfolio and Performance Manager to join a leading credit union based in McLean, VA. The Portfolio and Performance Manager will work closely with the Digital Group within the Consumer Banking Technology Organization, supporting financial oversight and performance optimization. This position will be on-site in Mclean, VA!

Responsibilities of the Portfolio and Performance Manager include:
- Collaborate with the Digital Group and PMO to establish and maintain best practices for project tracking, reporting, and performance measurement
- Manage financial reporting and budgeting across a portfolio of 50+ projects, including CapEx and OpEx oversight
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, automation, etc.) to streamline data entry and reporting processes
- Partner with Finance and Executive Leadership on annual capital planning and budgeting cycles
- Monitor project expenditures and assess ROI to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Support governance, risk management, and IT controls processes across the portfolio
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that impact business and member outcomes
Qualifications for the Portfolio and Performance Manager include:
- 5+ years of experience in financial or portfolio management, preferably within technology or banking environments
- Strong understanding of technology delivery and/or project management methodologies
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data automation
- Experience with cost allocation, valuation, and ROI analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Background in banking or financial services is preferred but not required
- Experience in project budgeting and performance optimization is highly desirable
Compensation for the Portfolio and Performance Manager includes:
- $130,000 - $150,000
