RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is working with a client in search of an HR Technology Solution Architect - Workday & HR Systems, to join their team in Midtown Manhattan, NY.
Overview:
Are you a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in Workday and HR systems? Ready to shape the future of human capital technology from the ground up? We are looking for a hands-on HR Technology Solution Architect to lead the technical delivery, optimization, and innovation of our Workday platform and supplemental HR systems.
This is a high-impact role where you'll wear multiple hats-architect, administrator, integrator, and advisor-working closely with cross-functional teams to drive transformation across the employee lifecycle. You will be at the forefront of a multi-year initiative to modernize and elevate our HR tech stack.
Duties:
* Security & Compliance Leadership: Design and manage Workday security architecture to meet audit and regulatory standards (SOX, SOC, GDPR, CCPA); Partner with InfoSec, Audit, and HC Operations to maintain governance and ensure data integrity
* System Ownership: Own the technical delivery of Workday, ensuring performance, uptime, and proactive optimization. Evaluate new releases and features to drive continuous improvement
* Implementation & Upgrades: Lead system implementations and upgrades across Workday and other HR platforms; Manage change control, regression testing, and release cycles
* Integrations & Data Management: Oversee integrations with platforms like Greenhouse, background check systems, and Snowflake; Ensure seamless data flow and accuracy across systems
* Support & Enablement: Provide Tier 2 support for Workday modules, resolve data issues, and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
* Innovation & Strategy: Stay ahead of HR tech trends and recommend forward-thinking solutions; Help shape best practices and influence enterprise-wide HR technology strategy
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, HR, or a related field
* 15+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, with deep expertise in Workday HCM and related systems
* Strong domain knowledge of HR processes-from recruiting and onboarding to performance and payroll
* Hands-on experience with Workday modules (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Absence, Talent, Recruiting, Reporting) and integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio)
* Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow and Snowflake is a plus
* Proven ability to navigate both business and technical landscapes, manage audits, and lead cross-functional initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
