We re partnering with our client, a leading insurance and technology organization, to identify an experienced AVP Appian Technical Lead to drive enterprise-level automation and digital transformation.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a senior technologist passionate about building scalable, secure, and efficient Appian-based solutions that directly impact business growth. You ll lead high-performing teams, guide architecture, and influence technology direction across the enterprise.

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise Appian solutions.

  • Provide technical direction and architectural leadership to development teams.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into innovative, scalable technical solutions.

  • Oversee project delivery ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met.

  • Champion modern technologies, Agile, and DevOps practices.

  • Mentor technical talent and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

  • 12+ years in software development or technology leadership.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Appian BPM, SAIL, Rules, and Integrations (REST/SOAP).

  • Proficiency in Appian Designer, BPMN, and low-code architecture.

  • Deep understanding of cloud -AWS/Azure and microservices frameworks.

  • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional IT teams.

  • Prior experience in insurance or financial services highly preferred.

  • Bachelor s in Computer Science or IT (Master s preferred).

  • Appian Senior/Lead Developer certification a plus.
