Robert Half is looking for Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of networking solutions across the enterprise. You will also oversee a team of network engineers, ensuring robust security, seamless connectivity, and optimal performance of our data centers and telecommunications systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with experience in mentoring teams and driving infrastructure advancements.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IT leadership to evaluate current and future network capacity needs and recommend resource adjustments.
Design and deploy efficient LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including core data center hardware such as firewalls, routers, and switches.
Implement and maintain secure configurations for firewalls, VPNs, and remote-access systems.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability in alignment with business objectives.
Develop and maintain thorough documentation of network configurations, diagrams, processes, and service records.
Recommend infrastructure upgrades and implement new locations following industry best practices.
Provide mentorship to team members, fostering growth and expertise in networking technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in networking.
At least 5+ years of advanced technical support experience in networking hardware and software.
Proven expertise with Cisco technologies, including routers, ASA, and wireless networking.
Strong knowledge of protocols such as Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Checkpoint.
Hands-on experience with data center operations, backup technologies, and configuration management.
