Requirements:
Physically able to climb and perform camera repairs as needed.
Willingness to travel as required, using your own vehicle.
Experience working with DVRs, NVRs, servers, and network switches.
The video surveillance technician will install, maintain, and repair video surveillance component equipment. Video surveillance equipment may also include cameras, switches, servers, wireless nano-beams, video, personal computers and the configuration and repair of the video surveillance system.
This position performs labor using hand tools and drills, climbs stairs, ladders, and other inclines and works from heights to include rooftops, ledges, bucket trucks, scaffolding and extension ladders, crawls under, around or over objects. They also work in confined areas such as crawlspaces, attics, manholes and other similar spaces.
