Description:
Responsibilities / Tasks of the Role:
Well Testing and Flowback Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of well testing and flowback operations including equipment, procedures, and data interpretation for various well types and environments.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the strategies and approaches of key companies within the sector, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
P&L Knowledge: Able to revise and estimate the financial performance (profit and loss) for well testing and flowback projects.
Business Acumen: Apply business management principles to project execution, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
Strategic Market Planning: Develop strategic plans for market entry including identifying market pathways, assessing pros and cons, and evaluating competitive landscapes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
Languages Required & Proficiency Level:
English - proficient
Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies) - 15+ years experience
Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies) - Started with Engineer and P&L, knows how to run the business, knows how competitors operate, how customers hide services
Technical Skills:
Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis.
Should have managed P&L for well testing/flowback
Soft Skills:
Ability to develop and implement strategic business plans for market penetration and growth; excellent communication and leadership skills
Education Qualifications (Required / Preferred):
Bachelor's Degree within appropriate Engineering/Science discipline or bachelor s degree
Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred):
O&G background required
