Title: Logistics Project Professional - Onsite

Description:
Reports to the Plant Manager and serves as a point of contact on any logistics related issues and collaborates with project management, production, test, quality, planning, and purchasing teams to resolve issues or queries;
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders;
Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas to ensure accuracy and accessibility, implementing lean principles;
Coordinate and schedule outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to customers or internal departments;
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards;
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and receipts using warehouse management systems (WMS);
Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and resolve discrepancies;
Monitor and enforce safety procedures and compliance with company policies and regulations. This includes OSHA standards, including hazardous materials handling when applicable;
Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits;
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in warehouse operations;
Responsible for the interpretation and analysis of relevant departmental KPI s and proffer recommendations accordingly;
Stay current with knowledge of dispatch, logistics planning, and effective supplier management.
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in logistics or supply chain preferred.
3+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding safety regulations and compliance standards related to warehouse operations.
