Responsibilities:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented circumstances
- Contribute to the resolution of complex, multi-dimensional situations through a solid understanding of technical functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel and stakeholders to meet deliverables and business goals
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education
- Hands-on experience in Java 17, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture
- Strong understanding and application of RESTful web services
- Proficient in MongoDB, Kafka, and Postman for backend service development and testing
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and Python Locust
- Familiarity with Apache POI for Excel file generation and iText for PDF file creation
- Exposure to React or other modern frontend frameworks
- Experience writing JUnit test cases for unit testing
- Solid understanding of secure coding practices, including prevention of cross-site scripting (XSS), SQL injection, and parameter tampering
- Self-motivated individual contributor and effective team player
Pay Range: $70-80
